How to protect your account: two-step verification and fingerprint lock

Updated on 18 October 2026

Your photos are private, and your account should be too. Ninbux offers several layers of protection: a long password, two-step verification and, on Android, an app lock with fingerprint or face.

Step by step

  1. Choose a password you don’t use anywhere else

At least 8 characters; a long phrase is better. A password manager helps you avoid reusing it.

  2. Turn on two-step verification

Go to Account → Security and choose how to receive the code: an authenticator app (the most secure), email or SMS. When you sign in, besides your password, it will ask for that code.

  3. Keep your recovery codes safe

When you turn it on you’ll get single-use codes. Store them somewhere other than your phone: they let you in if you lose it.

  4. On Android, lock the app with your fingerprint or face

Under Account → App lock, turn on “Lock Ninbux with fingerprint or face” and choose after how many minutes it locks. If the fingerprint fails, you can use your phone’s PIN or pattern.

  5. Be wary of emails that ask for your password

Ninbux will never ask for your password by email. If you’re unsure about a message, go straight to the website.

Start free, no card needed, and keep your photos in a private cloud in Spain.
